SPUTNIK PHOTOS
MENTORING PROGRAMME

The Sputnik Photos Mentoring Programme is an advanced course for people interested in documentary photography and activities on its periphery, and who want to create artistic photographic narratives. Since 2012 it has already been completed by 90 students.

It is based on students’ own work, which takes place under the watchful eyes of Sputnik Photos photographers. Classes are also hosted by invited guests and regular contributors to Sputnik Photos: writers, journalists, designers and curators.

Additional workshops, books, exhibitions and other initiatives organised by Sputnik Photos give students the opportunity to further develop, network and promote their work both during the course and after its completion.

The Sputnik Photos Mentoring Programme is run by the Sputnik Photos Association as part of its Mission Statement. The association gathers photographers from Central and Eastern Europe and supports the development of visual arts, including photography education.
